Bollards, posts and barriers can be harder to see when daylight fades, particularly around entrances and parking areas. Amber reflectors help make these features more visible by reflecting vehicle headlights back towards the driver.

How do amber reflectors work?

Amber reflectors do not produce their own light or require an electrical supply. They reflect light from sources such as vehicle headlights, helping drivers identify the position of the object they are attached to.

Their visibility depends on the direction of the light, their positioning and whether the reflective surface is clean and unobstructed.

Why choose self-adhesive reflectors?

The self-adhesive backing allows the reflectors to be attached to a suitable surface without drilling fixing holes or using screws.

Their rectangular shape and slim 1mm thickness make them a convenient option for marking bollards, posts and barriers where there is sufficient flat surface space.

Fitting and maintenance

Before fitting, check that the surface is suitable for adhesive attachment. Clean and dry it thoroughly, removing dust, grease and loose paint.

Position the reflector where it will be visible to approaching drivers, remove the backing and press firmly into place.

As part of routine maintenance, check that reflectors remain securely attached and visible. Clean away dirt and replace any that become damaged or go missing.
